This tour takes you to Nemocón, a town with serene streets and colonial architecture where you will enter its historic Salt Mine. More than 80 meters underground, you will discover a unique setting made up of brine mirrors, natural formations such as stalactites and stalagmites, and symbolic pieces carved in salt that reflect the region's mining tradition and the work of local generations.

The day continues to Zipaquirá, where you will have time to enjoy a typical lunch, then you will enter the Salt Cathedral, an architectural work built 180 meters underground in old mining holes. There you will visit spaces such as the Miners' Chapel, understanding the historical, cultural and spiritual importance of salt in the development of the territory. At the end, you'll return to Bogotá with a full view of this unique legacy in Colombia.

Visit the Cathedral where an underground salt deposit was formed and it is where the Salt Cathedral was built, 180 meters below the surface. Inside, there is a chapel, “capilla de los mineros” built as a tribute to the Virgin “Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá”

You´ll visit it´s salt mine descending to 80 meters underground. There, you´ll appreciate the 28 mirrors of brine, in which rocks of salt were dissolved producing an impressive optical effect

Visit the town of Zipaquira, which name means 'city of our Father' in the language of the Chibcha.
