Discover the essence of Cali, the world capital of salsa, on a guided tour of its most emblematic places, where history, art and urban culture meet.
The experience begins at the Jairo Varela Square, where the Monument to the Niche Group is located, a tribute to the legendary group that brought the sound of Cali to the world. From there we will start a walk along the Rio Boulevard, one of the most vibrant urban spaces in the city, surrounded by history and architecture, where you can admire jewels such as the La Ermita Church and the historic Ortiz Bridge.
We will continue to La Merced Church, where Santiago de Cali was founded in 1536. Then we will head to the traditional San Antonio neighborhood, famous for its colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and its viewpoint with a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
The tour also includes a visit to the iconic River Cat and the Cat Brides Park, an artistic space that celebrates the creativity of the people of Cali. Finally, we will visit the “La Palabra Cali” sign and stop at a local handicraft store, where you can enjoy a typical snack and acquire souvenirs from the region.
