We will begin the journey to the west of the department, enjoying the change of landscape until we reachSanta Fe de Antioquia, the first capital of Antioquia and a reference for colonial architecture in Colombia. You will walk through its historic center, surrounded by white facades, wooden balconies and buildings in bahareque and stone walls that preserve the essence of its past.

During the visit you will learn how history, culture and traditions are still alive in this heritage town, also renowned for its fruits and its quiet environment. Every street and square offers an authentic look at the colonial life that marked the development of the region.

Before returning to Medellín, you will cross thePuente de Occidente, an impressive 19th-century engineering project on the Cauca River, declared a National Monument. The day ends with aTypical Antioquian lunch, ideal for enjoying local flavors and closing the tour calmly.
